For a normal color laser printer with average performance and features set, the Canon Laser Shot LBP-5050N would do just fine.

It did very badly in the Features. It has only 16MB RAM - the least among the printers and also doesn't have option of expanding it. And it also scored fairly low in the other areas too. But the only silver lining here is the network management features with a very good implementation of print usage logs and a very user friendly mode of permitting and restricting access depending on a particular IP or a Range of IP Addresses.

The 11 ppm for black text page is the lowest among all the compared printers. It clocked the fastest in the A4 color print with 40 seconds even though it was in the slower side for the Power-Point slides and Excel sheets print test. And it took the prize for the overall print quality test with good text and image reproduction. It has the best prints in terms of good contrast against paper and could reproduce more image details than the other printers could manage.

Even though, this printer came in last, it is in no way a bad printer. If you prefer to get high quality prints and doesn't mind the high cost of running, you could still choose this printer.
