Thread: COM1 printer issues

My ticket printer attached to com1 port works well in windows but problem is when I start PC. After boot screen, when windows load, printer starts to print weird and senseless characters like????u0??0.
I have checked with many XP images, and they all have similar result. It prints some lines, and then ends. In windows, printer work without problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstall and then reinstall drivers for printers and check whether it works or not.

Printer has no drivers. My software interface corresponds openly with com1 port, to printer. I utilize XP Embedded image, so utilize only that software, and all installed during windows setup. So only com drivers used to communicate with printer.
