Web pages aren't a fixed size like A4 documents, they adapt according to the computer and browser they're displayed on. If you're using an early version of Internet Explorer, upgrade to the new version 8, which can automatically format most web pages to print correctly. Better still, check whether your printer came with a special program to print web pages, such as Epson's Web2Page, or get yourself a copy of HP's Smart Web Printing utility from snipurl site. It works with all makes of printer and lets you print single web pages in their entirety or combine several pages into a new one of your own design. Note that the HP utility works only with Internet Explorer.

If all you want is a copy ofa web page exactly as it appears on the screen, just press the Print Screen key and paste the copied screen into Windows Paint for printing. If the content rather than the layout is what matters, examine the web page carefully to see if there is a button for printer-friendly layout.
