It could be that a particular document contains hidden formatting codes that the printer can't cope with. After flushing the print queue, try printing a different document from the same program.

If the second document prints without problems, you might be able to cut and paste blocks of text and pictures from the dodgy document into a new one. If the problem is not linked to a single document, the printer driver might have become corrupted and should be reinstalled.
