The Epson Stylus Office T30 colour printer comes in an all-black body and is very similar in design to the Canon Pixma series. However, the differentiating factor is that the T30 uses five cartridges in the printer to give a high aualitv color mint. The T30 has an input tray as well as an output tray. The hinges are not that strong and the build is not sturdy enough. It has three buttons on the front panel for power, ink feed and removing jammed papers. The printer does not have Pict-Bridge or network support.
Cartridge installation takes some time and is tedious, but not difficult. The user interface software is simple to navigate through. The software prompts the 'user to change cartridges if the ink levels are not up to the Economy modes. Text printing is blazing with the printer taking just six seconds to print in normal quality mode. Economy mode, although faster by one second looks pretty bad, with the printing appearing washed out. For continuous fast printing, the printer took two minutes 50 seconds to print 15 A4 pages, but the quality was severely compromised as one could see the pixels. Photo quality vyas very good, for its price.
