Thread: Allocation of printer through router

I have one desktop and one laptop but when I want to print anything I must go to the desktop. So can anybody know how to connect printer directly to router. Means I want both PCs must connect to printer through router. Any help will be appreciated.

You can make use of direct connect means attach printer by USB to router or directly link Ethernet cable to router from printer. The internet connection does not get change, it about printer only.

Printer is now attached to PC from network you can shear printer from PC. PC with printer attached required being on to print from laptop. For this you won’t need hardware and printer attached to router, to share printer through current PC do this Require network capable printer.
Share printer from current PC on network. USB used to Ethernet adapter or print server.
