Thread: Unable to delete printer driver

I want to delete printer driver permanently. Because I continue getting message that it is in use, although they are not there. So please provide me some suggestions about it. Any help will be appreciated.

Start PC in safe mode and try to delete drivers from there. This is the better way to delete drivers.

To delete driver:

1. From Printers and Faxes or Printers folder, click File and then Server Properties.

2. Open Drivers tab.

3. Choose driver to be uninstalled, and click Remove

4. OPTIONAL: remove UPD registry access at HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \Hewlett \Packard\HP Print setting to hygienic out the cached UPD registry settings.

5. OPTIONAL: Delete driver files from \3 directory.
