Sometimes PC devices have hardware configuration clash with printer and it won’t work. So replace some of the hardware. This may solve your problem.
I have Dell Inspiron with XP as OS and install HP printer from Ethernet cable to my Home network form by D-link. Thus problem is when I try to attach printer to wireless laptop, printer was not recognized. There is no problem in connecting by USB to laptop, but never by wireless or connecting laptop to Ethernet on router. So please help me to solve this problem.

I think printer not getting IP address automatically from router. And check if you can allocate IP to printer in similar range of router by yourself. For this use something like shown below:
• IP: 192.168.0.2
• Subnet: 255.255.255.0
• Gateway: 192.168.0.1
