Thread: Issues with Canon printer

I have PC which has XP installed on it and Canon MX860 multifunction printer attached to it. But the problem is when I am on call printer starts scanning documents and due to this call disconnects. But when I try to switch off printer it doesn’t work. So provide me any suggestions to solve this problem.

First check that drivers for printer are installed and working appropriately on PC, Right click on my computer and go to device manager. Highlight installed printer and check if there is caution symbols against it. If caution signs are there, then follow troubleshooting process. If that doesn’t solve problem then update drivers for device.

This was problem with firmware of printer because of which printer was not functioning correctly. So update firmware of printer and printer will work well. So get firmware of printer updated and check printer works correctly or not.
