Thread: Error appears on Dell printer

I have Dell PC which has Windows XP installed on it. PC is connected with Dell A940 printer by USB cord. But problem is for some days I am unable to print any document. When print command gives error message appears as "Error 502". SO please help me to solve this error. Thanks in advance.

Check cord attaching printer to PC. USB cords lean to get defective due to many causes. USB cord has Lines of conductors which get damaged because of inappropriate storage and handling. If conductors damaged then cord won’t work appropriately. Also connectors of cord can get injured due to similar reason. If cord is defective then communication between PC and printer will not be appropriate and it shows error. So change cord and check printer works or not.

Reset the printer and check whether problem solves or not. Many times firmware of printer gets stuck because of which printer becomes unresponsive and then PC unable to give print command to printer. So just reset the printer to solve the problem. For this power on printer. Now push power and paper feed button jointly and keep it pressed till all LED's on printer glow. Then release button and power on printer again. Now see this may solve your problem.
