HP F4180 DeskJet printer permits to copy documents, scan objects and store images of those objects, and print documents and images on different papers. Though F4180 was intended with ease in mind, problems can appears.
Instructions
· Make sure that printer is on. If it is not, check power cord is tightly connected to electrical outlet. If printer is connected to power strip, ensure that power strip is on.
· Make sure that printer's ink cartridges are installed and paper is loaded in paper tray.
· Check for paper jams by taking out access door of printer. If paper jam does exist, clear it. Close access door and push "Resume" button.
· Open printer's cartridge door and get rid of any obstacles blocking print like packing materials. Clean any obstacle, then close cartridge door. Turn printer off, then turn it on.
· Make sure that printer's USB cable is tightly connected to printer and to PC. If printer fails to respond, check USB cable by cable to connect device known to be in functioning condition to PC. If that device fails to work, change USB cable with cable no more than 9.8 feet in length.
· Again install software if printer's USB cable was attached to PC before software was installed. Uninstall software, and then detach printer's USB cable. Install software and again attach USB cable when prompted.
