Wireless routers include much flexibility to home or office by removing requirement to run cables all over and rising portability. To make most of wireless network, connect all PCs and printers.
Instructions
• Connect Ethernet cable straight from printer to router, if printer has Ethernet port. Put in and run printer installation CD and select "Network".
• Switch on printer and check that it is on network by go to Start and open "Control Panel," then "Network and Sharing," then "View Computers and Devices."
• Or connect printer to router by USB cable. Few wireless routers has USB association for printer so many PCs can share printer over the network.
• Include printer by go to Start and open "Control Panel," then "Printers," then "Add Printer," then "Add a Network Printer." Follow instructions to organize.
• Check wireless router to printer relationship by printing test page from printer from any one network PCs. Go to Control Panel; choose "Printers," then name of network printer, then "Properties," then "Print Test Page."
