Default "No Device Found" on Networked Printer

I have HP Office jet 6300 All in One on home network. One day printer was abruptly dropped from network, and I had to physically search for it over again to add it. After doing so, HP Solution Center software on PC gives mistake message "No HP Devices Have Been detected HP answer Center will close now". I have tried reinstalling software, but fix is only temporary. HP Support is naive. What to do? Please help me to solve this problem.

Yes, printer does certainly work and I capable to print from it by Windows Vista print function. Though, HP Solution Center that offers advanced options with printer, like copying faxing and scanning, is not working. As I said printer is on network, and HP Solution Center unpredictably closes when I open program. The printer is lively on network Windows explorer shows that. I can't shape out difficulty, and neither can Indian technicians that HP assigns to case.

You go to Printers in Control Panel and decide to add new printer. Choose to add LOCAL printer sure that auto detect choice is unchecked. Then select second choice, to add new port. Open drop down menu and decide Standard TCP/IP port. When click on Next, new wizard appears. Enter IP address there, and click on Next. Now select network adapter that is used to attach to printer on network. Then keep pressing next. De network printer should emerge as local printer.
