The black and white laser printer Oki B410dn comes in a compact cube shape. Of a gray plastic case packed in laser shows a square base of about 37 cm edge length. The paper tray with 250 sheet capacity at the base of the housing is fully integrated in the printer. Oki positions the B410dn as a printer for small work groups.
But his nominal rate ranges from 28 pages per minute in completely plain text printing. In our tests, the Oki B410 delivered a 20-page Word document in about 48 seconds, which corresponds to an output of about 25 pages per minute - well. Our 10-page Acrobat file with text, graphics and images of the Oki B410dn also brought very quickly to paper: 27 seconds about 22 pages per minute mean.
Even the basic configuration of the Oki B410dn is fully equipped. The laser comes with three interfaces: USB 2.0 and parallel for use in the workplace, Ethernet 10/100 for the operation of the network. Automatic Duplex Unit reduces paper consumption. As PCL is implemented 6th Drivers are available for Windows, MAC OS X, Linux and Unix. The 32 MB memory can be upgraded to 288 MB. The toner is housed in a separate unit from the developer cartridge. The capacity is 3,500 sheets.
Since toner and developer (19,800 sheet capacity) can be replaced separately, the Oki B410dn prints at a low price of only about 1.7 cents. The electricity consumption was in standby mode after all, almost 9 watts.
