Can't print Screen

I have a new notebook PC running Vista Home Premium and I can't get the PrtScr (Print Screen) button to work. I've looked in the help and support documentation without success?

Sometimes notebooks pair up Mrarely used keys to save space. The secondary function is written in a different colour and there is usually a button called Fn in the same colour.

Hold down the two keys simultaneously to access the secondary function. If this doesn't help you activate the Print Screen function, there are several software utilities that can do the same job.

The Gadwin Print Screen utility is very versatile. It can even capture the cursor, which is unusual. Alternatively, the free image-editing program The Gimp can take screengrabs of individual windows as well as the whole sneen. It can even delay the capture to give you time to set up the screen properly.

Windows Vista comes with a more capable screen capture utility than Windows XP. Click on the Start Button, then All Programs, Accessories and then on Snipping Tool. Select the option 'Display icon in the Quick Launch toolbar' as this removes its dependency on the PrtScn button. Click on this button to start the utility. Either click and drag to select an area to capture or select an individual window.
