The photo printing inkjet printers are a bit more complicated than the first two. Many of the 4-colour inkjets print photos with good quality and most photo printing inkjets carry the same features as 4-colour inkjets with just a few special photo printing features added such as directly printing from the digital camera. Most of the photo printing inkjets use additional colours such as light cyan light magenta, green, and red to provide true photographic quality outputs.



Inkjets designed specifically for photo printing often provide memory card slots, LCD preview screens or PC-less printing so you can print directly from a digital camera.n These printers work well for people who print occasionally, and for those who can refill their ink cartridges or buy refurbished. Because they can be fairly small, finding space for them isn't a big deal for most users.

The expense, however, comes in the ink. Buying refurbished cartridges can save money, but sometimes users end up spending a few bucks every time the black ink runs low.
