    Default AMD Athlon XP 2400+

Well, I dared not and whether or not others, I uploaded a AMD Athlon XP 2800 +.

Now my temperature, passing the torture test the CPU reaches a maximum at 64 ° C v 1.8 (was 1.7 ...) and the graphic is 55 º "normal", even in game I have not tested, but understands graphs raise your temp and a lot to do better (not too much light)

From time to time I get the graphic warning has been poor performance and ensure me connected to this extra power (it is AGP), that means I raise the voltage?

    Thank you.

Thanks for responding, the truth is just a starts simply ask and ask and answer if you accidentally.

Well, my graphics is an NVIDIA 7300GT, with the temperature pc "idle" is usually around 50-55 º C, in game I have not seen yet, and I am somewhat bundled lately, but I suppose upload something. You know more about this topic, if you think the temperature without giving too overworked to the PC, I suppose temperature with vga to work.

Indeed, because of step I take, I am looking to change the micro for a better, I recommend watching? (AMD Socket A), I would like to buy some second-hand shop and other plan, but there are too expensive for the pockets of a student and well, I have seen an AMD Athlon XP 2600 +, it is worth going from a 2400 + to 2600 +? Equal pay my 2400 + @ 2600 + 2600 + the factory?

I would throw it over a pc and the oc saw my salvation, but even having until 2800 I do not see an improvement, I must be doing something wrong...

Apparently not what lets you have a good performance, as far as you can, t is the number of T. Video, if you have any cooler, make sure it works well, you do not have dust or the like, and if you do not have one Put it fits, see you there.

Since about the play (each game depends on if ") the increase in t º usually minimum 20 º C, so if you play something more or less heavy, hot enough, considering that in this idle to 50-55 º C, that it is ....

I agree with this, the temperature goes up a vga to play a lot, especially if you’re passive (no fan). Any fan to do not have to be expensive, a single 40mm fan on the heat sink works wonders.

On the subject of the CPU, that would not know the truth to tell, I do not have much experience with AMD. The frequency of the oc "next cpu in the list" almost always gives better results because these memory, chipset.
