    Default E8400 Processor

    I have the following question:
    How good and reliable, this M / B GigaByte GA-EP45-DS3 rev1.0 (RTL) Socket775 <P45> 2xPCI-E +2 xGbLAN +1394 SATA ATX 4DDR-II <PC2-8500> to disperse percent Duo E8400?

    Do not roll a shadow on the hurdle. To create the Crossfire would be better : 16 + 16 + 8 to 16 lines of PCI-E. Although, of course, in theory, in practice the difference is not so great.

    Accelerated opportunities for P5E are better, if understood in the settings. Plus, a powerful cooling system at the northern bridge will disperse by the way, if you put a cooler tower design.

    ASUS Maximus II Formula is also good. But it is a marriage in the cooling system, if you do not understand how to fix, then you can go long in changing the service to new charges (and as ill luck would get from the same batch with the same bugs). This is because by the way, do not worry.

    Well, let's say, only in the plans, first how well the HD4870 as it describes . At some "iron" the forum heard that P45 best.

    I am not going to play Russian roulette with a computer, but in modern different ... so for me to walk (i.e. services) to anything ... praises the people of this fee. In about cooling - I am building a well-ventilated...

    98% - you do not put a second graphics card in the future. Forget about this idea. Virtually no one thought for the future installation of a second graphics card in the array to abandon such thoughts in the face of one of two situations (assuming that actually have money to buy a second graphics card and you want to):
    1. Video of this series has already withdrawn and not sold;
    2. For a new generation of graphics cards, going by that time, at the price of the old propose a new video card with a performance at the two graphics cards, the previous generation.

    So, once or two or forget about the Crossfire.
