Thread: Processor not maintained

My Computer is Hewlett Packard with Pegatron 52N68-LA motherboard and only core Sampson processor. I bought Phantom II 940 quad core and tried to install it and I got error message that read "CPU not supported" when new windows 7 64 OS tried to start. I checked specs for motherboard and it says it supports phantom II quad-core CPU. Many questions, there something I want to do in bios to allow CPU to run?

Maybe should flash BIOS to latest version and update the BIOS.

Make sure to download correct bios from hp website.
