    I had a Phenom 9600 with me and had to go to Phenom 9850.I did lot the corresponding activity to go from 9600 to the 9850.I pulled the 9600 out and then put the 9850 in and then cleared CMOS and booted the machine. While mass this machine I didn't have an payoff. I didn't have an release with getting into Windows XP. I didn't requirement to reinstall or anything. Have you upgraded to Vista SP1 yet?

    Thanks Friends, I had a wait at your result and I had would tell you that I have not done a reinvigorated set up. What I did is that I pulled my old Phenom 9500 out and then replaced it with the 9850 in its locate. Then I just uninstalled the drivers for the 9500 device handler and then it was followed by the reinstalled of the 9850. During this outgrowth the windows set up the drivers without a trouble.
