    Default Update AMD CPU

Hi all, since it appears that AMD is recalling the Phenom x4 and x6 I thought I should upgrade my processor and I hesitate, my current components are: Asus M3A78 Pro, AMD 7750 (2.7GHz x2), 4 gb of ram and 1GB Graphics 5850, my power supply is a Bequiet but old 6 years and I think 420W or 450W.

Not as current simulators exploit the CPU or GPU, so I ask, above all I want to see if that is playable on Cliffs of Dover, i want to spend it right, but not stay pulled very early the same now there is not much difference between x4 and x6 but soon begin to take advantage. The source I suppose that will change in a few months, but I can try to maintain it until then.

It is not difficult to put it at 3.6 ghz with vcore standard, but you Turbo Core thing the 955BE does not have and if in the future you change your board is likely to enjoy over an X6 come on, I had it clear, especially after the first benches of the FX 8150.

I would absolutely vat to 955, or if you want an X6 1055T although it would be better a 1090T The 960T only option seems to me If you want to try to unlock although maybe I'm wrong.

With my motherboard can not unlock a 960T and I doubt that will ever change except damage and as for overclocking, the processor will stay with the standard fan I guess that goes a long way and I'm not detrastear too whatever the processor up a bit perhaps, but without much force or touching the VCore.

I believe that to this day, do not need more than 4 cores, there are few applications that are able to extract Juice and they do I doubt that a normal user to use them both, on the other hand, the 960T as already discussed in the forum has more than 955 technology and better micro. Is a micro cooler means that the technology is better, which consumes less energy and last longer, the 955 has been a very good mic for quite some time but now the 960T is better if you think you are worth the price difference if you buy the 960 and not 955. This is not to say that a x6 or x8 is not recommended for multitasking teniendo a considerable number of applications running will always be better to have more cores, in one more thing, your mic might be based on the old Phenom and also has 4 cores, if you have chance to try a plate may be able to unlock it.

The 1055T you can find it all included, I just buy it not exactly say that but you're going to use it, but the price difference between the 955 and the 1055T, 1055T I would stay with the regards .
