    Follow the steps given below to create a Custom Keyboard Shortcut to Open Internet Explorer:

    • Create a desktop shortcut of Internet Explorer in the desktop or under Documents if it’s already not there

    • Right click the shortcut and click Properties.

    • Enter the keyboard shortcut which you would like for opening Internet Explorer. For example, I give Ctrl + Alt + I for Internet Explorer.

    • Click Ok and now you can use this keyboard shortcut to open any instance of Internet Explorer.
