Creating shutdown timer in Visual Studio 2008

I am attempting to make shutdown timer and many things but not getting preferred results. I have GUI there and all I do not know how to place it together. I am using Visual Studio 2008. So do I want to use Combo Box to delay shutdown.exe? Does anybody show me how to do it? Help me to solve this problem.

1) I know how to do it in VB. There is Shell () function used for it. To shut down in 60 seconds, then make use code given below :

Shell (“shutdown /s /t 60”)
