Thread: Difference between C++ & Java

Hi. I am last year BCA student. I have sound knowledge of C++ programming language. My planning is to learning Java programming language. Before learning language I want to know what the difference between C++ and java programming language is. All possible replies and comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Here are the differences between java and C++

• Java is reusable and more reliable, more secure than C++.

• Java is the platform independent while C++ is platform dependent

• In java have no pointers where c ++ has pointers

• In C++ we can write a program without using “class” but in java it is not possible
