Lately I’ve attempt a lot to compile and perform c programs on my notebook but I could not locate any compiler that I can download for my 64 bit stage. I’ve tried out Borland c++ compiler but it didn't really work out. Give me some help.

I suggest you to Try Microsoft's own Visual C++ 2008 Express version. It can be downloaded for free from this particular link.
