Thread: How to Transfer Data Between Two Hard Drives

Hi guys,
I having 500gb of data on a usable 2.5 ''usb 2 hdd and need to transfer onto another3.5'' usb2 1.5tb both are in there outer enclosures having vista but got only 100 gig hdd free, I tried to connect the 2 usb drives to the pcs usb ports one in the front and one in the back ,and attempted to transfer 500 gb of data it says it will take 8 hours ,its still reassigning now but its slow is there any other way of making the reassigning faster using a software called teracopy Thanks!!!

My friend the speed is pretty ok for the usb.

Investigate USB3 or eSATA. It is good but try it only to take for 8 hours.
