Default Visual Basic Excel Macro for Excel data-> Word

Hi everybody I obtain to operate a job, determine a way to automate sure records in a Word document can include to. next situation: In the Excel spreadsheet in column D and (E or F) are assesses that should be included to existing text in Word markers.

When you operate the macro to a short pop up window, in which (such as print in the choice of the link administrator) can enter the line numbers where the assesses in columns D and E / F should be taken.

So you could 1-5 or 1; enter 5; third Excel has 5 lines. By clicking on the macro and it is the dialog box. The user taps now a 1, 3, and the macro-fished, the data D1, low F1, D3, F3. D1 and F1 are then entered for Geräte_ID_1 and Inventar_ID_1 and D3 + F3 for Geräte_ID_2 and Inventar_ID_2.

The aim is to print the IDs of the devices on labels, always 24 at once. The IDs are not any times using copy + paste must be pulled back and forth but it should be simplified to save time.

I would use a macro for your facts, but the mail merge feature of Word. Use the wizard to create labels. Only the step to select the data source you must not "create" option. As you get depending on Office version (Which do you have?) On a Word or Access table. For an Excel spreadsheet, the data source will already be present.

In Excel, you probably need to create a data source over a new leaf. The Word label wizard then asks you for the name of the Excel spreadsheet. If I understood your presentation correctly, you need the data source only the columns and Geräte_ID Inventar_ID with 24 lines. The data come with a look up function in the table, probably look up. Have a go and register again.
