I can not wait to do it with HTML cutrer as long as you current, with jQuery you can use mobile web and also make application for mobile.
I need your advice to create a simple application, the user will navigate through a tree of options, Each end node and optionally any intermediate will linkado to an image for example, a menu appears in the names of football teams, and in Spain appears clikink Absolute, U21, U19, ... and selecting one of these appear the names of their players and Ticar one appears in your photo. The real example can be a bit more complex, in principle I want to make it work on mobile devices, but as I learn to use specific applications for these environments quisiera to a previous version that runs on Windows.

I think you'll agree with me that the look and feel of something made QT or wxWidgets or any Windows, OSX or Linux does not look like a web page, in addition to html including php, asp or javascript are slow and inefficient compared to eg C + +.
I think the look is more the fault of the developers own technology, compare web languages with desktop language is like comparing bacon to speed, regarding the main topic, it is not as crazy as a web application: XHTML + CSS + Javascript + PHP + MySQL and pull miles.
I've done 99% of desktop and WPF, which allows you to get results very showy, that if a good web designer makes a more colorful than anything desktop.
