The chipset supports it, another thing is that the motherboard supports. You could get the model?

Am, although the motherboard supports, you can not have both at the plate DDR (which is what you have now) and DDR2.

Ok, your motherboard does not support DDR2, DDR, and only in your case has to be DDR-400, as we have now installed. Since the motherboard has 4 RAM slots are occupied and only two of them, you can buy a pair of modules 1 GB DDR-400 (approx € 40 each).

Let's see, if you switch processor I have no very clear that your motherboard (I do not sound anything) will support the new processor, either a Core2 Duo or Quad. If not supported, you come to change, the processor, motherboard and RAM, tenlo account. Still, stock processor for socket 775 is not going to disappear overnight, but it is out of Intel and leaving manufacture several models.

Regarding the VGA and power without knowing the brand of your power supply can not advise you fully, but if that is at least 400 W, a Radon HD4670 which is a more desirable option (if your monitor is not more than 19 ").

And on your current processor is not just that the Pentium D is already somewhat outdated, is that originally it was a very powerful processor.

In my opinion, the "greater" performance boost in games you'll see it by changing the VGA HD4670 you commented. However, it quotes because although the increase is significant, you have the processor making bottleneck, in the same way, if you change the processor, you'll have the 8500 doing the bottleneck.

In any case is the NVIDIA 8500 get DDR2 of PNY and if I'm not bad ... the processor is 400 MHz ... indeed seen in appinformatica.com an e card viejecilla k but this is a pretty good q DDR3 ATI 3850 for 84: ... q not you think? dijistes a well or 4670 DDR3 for 77 euros ... in the case to the monitor is an HP w19b ... 1440 x 900, then better change the first processor or the graphics?

and to the case as you said before ... I move to 64 bits?

connection to the motherboard ... x qe information obtained: supports up to 4 GB of ram (4 slots each January 1 gig of ram) to 800 MHz, supports all types of Core2 Duo and Quad 775, and has the Intel chip if I do not remember the model is not new but is in December 2006, is that really the computer is a Compaq Presario sr2119es and a special plaque for HP and Compaq computers and can not be over clocked mean or anything ... the good thing is that everything is organized but very limited

The Radon HD3850 512MB VGA is good but the reality is that the HD4670 pays the same as the HD3850 and a lot less. If you had a good source of 500 W would not have much problem, but a generic 500 W would have serious difficulties in giving chicha to the card, by contrast, your fuel source may smooth the HD4670 512MB.

On the motherboard ... "Any" includes the 45 nm Wolf dale cores? If the bears, maybe you could upgrade both components at once: an A E5200 + HD4670 should leave by around 150 €. In any case, I would not put a Quad since, apart from the price, you would find a good heat sink because it greatly.
