Thread: RAM on Notebook

I have MD78 Series Notebook laptop and windows vista installed in it. I don't have sufficient knowledge about memory or internal process. Actually I want to know about RAM in particular system. Please tell me anybody about this.

1) RAM of this is Dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM support and extendable to 2 GB. Also it has SODIMM memory unit with extendable to 4 GB. The memory on MD78 Series .This RAM can be change by end user.

2) If you want to change memory on this Notebook, so initially Slide and hold battery release latch to open position. Then remove battery, lose screw that hold RAM bay cover then ensure watchfully take out RAM bay cover. Push release handles on any side of RAM then take out memory module out of memory bay, now change ram, and follow similar procedure for reinstallation also.
