Hi,
Anybody know how several watts a stick of DDR3, ECC, register RAM consume? i have not over clocked,. i am via the manufacturing setting. I want to know the wattage consumption affected by the alacrity?? can you help me out???

The supply of power for the memory 1.8 volts for DDR2. Now the advanced technology summing up the supply of voltage just 1.5 volts for DDR3 .The voltage drop limits the amount of power that is obsessed and warm that is generate in connection with the increase in bandwidths.
The voltage spending is all depends on how much warm the exacting RAM engenders. If we supply energy amazing like RAM or a CPU, generally it will use barely any amps, until such time as it is "allowed" to produce heat, that is when it starts comatose in more and more amps, as the electricity is evasion as thermal power. But now technology go superior so the power use by RAM get reduce.
