Sometimes we have problems trying to install a new DIMM or SIMM memory in your PC and present failures such as error detection module correctly putting it still does not increase our amount of RAM.
To avoid these problems we give the following tips that surely will be helpful especially taken into consideration before installing your new memory. When you run the test preparation called Main Board Information. The program will provide a lot of information about your motherboard, among them the BUS speed of your RAM.
Once you know it and point it shuts down the PC. Remove the memory module, install the other and repeat the operation to check also the BUS speed. If speed does not coincide in both cases you know where the problem is. If the contrary proves to be the same in both modules, then spend the next point.
Make sure the memory modules you want to install are identical ie have the same number of chips and besides they are placed on both modules in the same way ie one side or both sides of the modules. When installing memory modules only have chips on one side with modules that have chips on both sides as normal is that the motherboard will not boot in any way . If you have modules that are equal we then the third point.
The access speed of a memory module is DIFFERENT to the BUS speed or that we have seen before. This kind of speed appears above the screen-printed black memory chips in each module. So you know out of how fast the chips of each module you refer a small diagram below called speed. Simply double click for easy reference. If you have checked this kind of speed you see that the modules are of different speeds and have located the problem, but spent the fourth point.
