Thread: New RAM but as slow as the old

I'm now concerned about the new RAM runs at 667 MHz instead of 800 MHz. Timings are roughly the same as the previous memory. Did the same time launched a benchmark and realize that despite the higher clock speed is virtually no difference to the old there. Why might that be? Thank you for your effort ever.

The only thing you might notice the load times will be reduced somewhat. Regular FPS thrusts will reach you but not by faster RAM. To really rake in the performance RAM attaches the wrong point where the lever Faster RAM is mostly used by over lockers to run the FSB 1:1 with the CPU clock and leave so few applications from more performance rake in, the advantage has, however, also very limited. Or you can exaggerate with the FSB so strong that the faster RAM needed for stable operation.

In itself, the difference between 667 and 800 MHz is very low - even when the timing is hardly notice a difference...
