    Default Problem with adding ram

Hello. I have an ASUS P5VD2-VM motherboard with 2 sticks from a gb667mhz. I bought a 2gb stick to v-data from 667 MHz. I removed the two from a gb and I put the 2gb but when I start the computer arrived at the end of the bar loading Windows Vista PC will restart. What can it be? What can I do?

    HI.....
could be a compatibility problem with the new ram. How do you want to replace two 1GB modules with a 2GB? no gains in performance …..the setup will make same system performance
