Hi,
I ordered new memory for my old PC so it runs faster. Before it was 512 MB and now it should really be 1 Gb if it would work for. It is the correct RAM because I'm 100% sure but my computer just beeps.
Can help a BIOS update?
Hi,

Can help a BIOS update?
Then it is unfortunately not the "correct RAM.
The seller on the page is first Compatible with all mainboards with SD Ram slot and 2 a difference to my old Ram, there are not new except that the two sides is filled with memory chips but this is not the problem because I've tried it with another bolt. The only difference is the old and the new CL3 CL2. But nothing more.
If I had not been sure that it is the right one I had not actually ordered me and if I know me usually with my PC in order to know what hardware I need.
Once a double-sided works, sometimes it does not work. Have you ever tried a new bios?
How to pack your Ram slots at most?
I do not know how much the pack because the PC is as old as I have no manual and I was not originally. The Internet can also find nothing useful except from time to time purely fits a note that a maximum of 1 GB in the PC because there are just only 2 slots but that is just how much can be constructed ... really, there are unfortunately nowhere. New BIOS I have not tried yet because I'm not even sure if that helps me or what can help. Should I try an update? If a BIOS update to change what it can handle how much memory a slot?
Clear CMOS executed after the onset of the new Ram. ? 2x 512 is 1 Gb. Or do you want to block 2x1 Gb.
A bios update could help. Your main board manufacturer is usually what changes the update.
