    Default 12GB RAM not detected

    Hi

I have the following problem. I've done for my PC again 6GB RAM. Now is detected when booting the PC part, or only 8GB or 10GB. After rebooting several times it will then recognize the full 12GB. The whole course in the BIOS.

    My System

    CPU: Intel Core i7 BOX 980X, 3.33 GHz, LGA 1366, 6C/12T
    RAM: Mushkin Redline 6x2GB, DDR3-1600, CL6-8-6-24@1.65V
    MB: Asus P6X58D-E, Intel X58, 1366, SLI, CFX, USB 3, SATA-3

I have browsed through several forums but found nothing useful that could help me.
I hope someone can help me here now.
    Thank you

It may be that you have to be administered at a fully loaded memory bit more excitement. The Mushkin is certainly at 1.8 V. So try to increase the voltage times carefully.

Moreover, it may (but need not), that bars are of the same type of different release and it may in rare cases cause problems.

Then I would test even the second set alone and behold if that works reasonably accurate.

Stepping in the BIOS to AUTO and of course the latest BIOS to use at all, so if necessary update.

QPI-voltage dress. The memory controller is on 12GB demanded more easily.

Of course you can also begin until 1066 and CL9 rantasten and then slowly to the printed rate.

PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 700W 80plus Bronze E7 Windows 7 64-bit displays each of the same size as in the BIOS. I have tried several times using fixed values in the BIOS to work but brought no advantage. The values I have set.

    DDR3-1600 DRAM Frequency
DRAM Bus Voltage: 1.64V (1.65V is not, because my BIOS permissible only 0.02 steps)

    DRAM CAS Latency 6
    DRAM RAS TO CAS 8
    DRAM RAS PRE Time 6
    DRAM RAS ACT Time 24

    2nd Information
    2N DRAM Timing Mode

If the motherboard does not run with the auto settings you will probably do nothing more than the left hand set of things?

QPI is the Asus BIOS actually in plain text in the Extreme Tweaker if you have the * duck * I was too lazy me download your motherboard manual.

    DDR3-1600, CL6-8-6-24@1.65V

I would run the memory as the first 1333er (1066), vlt also eases timing

    eg 8-8-8-24 or 9-9-9-27

the other would have said yes, as most bios, memory, individual sentences
    if necessary voltage increase slightly.

So here I am again, I've tried out the recommended setting. Unfortunately, with little success. With the same settings in part 8GB and 12GB were detected. There is no system behind it visible. I do not know what slow. If I only have 3 bars in it he recognizes 6GB good only if all 6 are in there he makes problems

Have the same problem only worse for me sometimes be detected only 4 of 6 GB (P6X58D-E, 3 x 2 GB Mushkin 1600 MHz, CL6). And although I have a feeling that will be recognized at first startup (cold start) rather only 4 GB and after several start-up every 6 GB. Can it be that the RAM “only has to do??

Pretty annoyed by now, have already out-and produced and made all possible value of this proposed change. Interestingly, CPU-Z always recognizes all 6GB, even if the BIOS recognize only 4 GB! Very, very strange ...

    Any suggestions?
