Thread: RAM availability

Hello friends, I will be accessing windows 7 and want to know the highest amount of RAM that I should buy so that it is not wasted in any case. I will be running programs like Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop etc. Thank you.

Sudzter, the more the better or thats what i always think of. I know there was a boundary with windows xp - it could only make use of the first 4gb but i don't believe that is a issue with windows 7 but few of of these techie guys will know a much better. Does your graphics have its own memory or does it use the system memory. I guess 4gb is sufficient.

If you are imagining to Over clocking then it is improve to go for 2x4Gb or 3x4Gb other than like 4x2Gb or 6x2Gb to get the like entire amount. Hope that helps.

4GB is more than sufficient. But if you're using a 32 bit OS then it won't use all of it.
