Thread: Meliorate w/ RAM 5300c vs. 5300s

I am having touched with a new set of RAM I new conventional. It is labeled pc2-5300c, time the old RAM is labelled pc2-5300s. Notwithstanding, the two person the duplicate amount of pins and appear monocular. Is the 5300c RAM unfitting with laptops? I reliable it in a macbook, macbook pro, and my HP HDX16. All of them gave revive errors.

Any meliorate would be greatly satisfying.

Can you get a movable to boot up at all with the retentiveness? If so I'd suggest locomotion mem86 over it to chequer for problems with the module itself, honorable an intention.

S is retributory "SODIMM" for notebooks in unspecialized. "C", IIRC, is the homophonic as "S", but some way for Macs and their ground faculty susceptibility. I'm not big on Macs, so I can't cater often on them...but the HDX16 giving errors may only be that it has a contrastive IC's and then perhaps diametrical interval and emf ratings?
