I imagine it does function. graphics storage has nothing to do with the chief memory till it is shared and if it is shared, there would not be difference.

Graphics and arrangement ram are absolutely absolute of anniversary other. Personally I am application a DDR3 Cartoon agenda on a lath with DDR2 memory. Expanding on it, the aforementioned can be said for newer cartoon cards with DDR4 as able-bodied as systems demography DDR2 or DDR3 on the motherboard as well... You can now stop annoying and go advanced with your new purchasing plan! All the Best..!

Yes....Yes you can. The Video agenda DDR anamnesis is not the aforementioned as the arrangement memory. The video agenda anamnesis is committed to the video agenda only. As continued as you accept the requirements for the agenda to run, again you should be fine. That is how my arrangement is bureaucracy now.

DDR random access memory port physically wont assume DDRII or DDRIII. they are not plug compatible. However if you search an PCIe or other kind of VIDEO Card that is Plug Compatible with your computer and it contains DDRII or DDRII random access memory on it then yes it will function.
