It be supposed to function very well, I am presuming you are populating the complete the slots. Yes the full slots, so it does not it matter to facilitate they are of different brands. Do they the complete have to be 2gb of random access memory each slot or eb capable to a number of be 4GB each slot. You be capable to combine and match RAM these days esp beginning from side to side DDR3.

I have covered an asus p6t deluxe and had a question regarding the 2 orange SAS slots beneath the 6 sata ports. I am having trouble essentially understanding what SAS is, and if this is predisposed to of supporting a solid state drive. Is this board effectual of sustaining and keeping sata 2. In extra words, the majority of the solid-state drive I have comprised seen are sata 2, decide to I be capable to hook them into a regular sata port on the hard drive or the sas port.

To my experience at present subsequent to doing a diminutive extra research, I am coming up by a number of the history behind sata. At the similar time as there have comprised and been various revisions to the sata correlation in special sata at 1.5 GB/s, 3.0 GB/s and the most current 6.0 GB/s, sata 2 is actually a misnomer of the normally used sata 3.0 GB/s.

Be capable to I get confirmation of this. So that my doubtfulness tranquil remains of my p6t being capable to sustain or keep these innovative velocities, be capable to it sustain or keep the most current 6.0 GB/s transfer. This I think is unlikely as it states 3.0 gb/s in the manual. I may have encompassed answered on my question there. On the other hand, if you are even by me, I tranquil am puzzled on what particularly the SAS slots are then.
