The market for computer components and accessories are currently split into two camps, one is looking for a very quiet and unobtrusive system with plenty of power, but without unnecessary frills, the second camp is the ongoing trend for many years faster, but also more "colorful" and "striking" section. It is in this category comes with the Corsair XPERT series, which can be viewed as a continuation of the "Pro" product line, the Pro Series also features an LED indicator on the top of memory. While there, only the storage activity is displayed visually, has set the Corsair XPERT series is now even better with, and built a large segment display on the top of memory, allowing more ads than the storage activity, what exactly is this possible and how the memory suggests in its original function as a memory, show the following pages.

Corsair is one of the best known memory manufacturers and enjoys particularly among high-end users and overclockers a very good reputation, not least because of the presented to the NVIDIA nForce4 Intel Edition Memory XMS2 5400-UL, which reached in some laboratories test a clock of 589 MHz and thus correspond to a DDR2-1178 memory module.

Corsair actually comes from the server area, where it has made to the designated Registered modules, a name that comes to our server also good, because it is registered with 8GB DDR 400, ECC memory modules made by Corsair equipped.

Now, let us but the actual test object, turn the Corsair XPERT Memory, and toss just take a look at the modules visually, they resemble the Pro Series, but they have at the top of an interface for viewing: Striking is probably the enormous size of the modules including heat spreader. The modules are all about 5.08 cm high and thus project the CMX512-4400C25PT modules such as 1.7 cm, the slip-on displays are just over 1 inch wide and can be plugged in two directions on the modules, that would be mounted on a motherboard that has the dual-channel memory to be placed in two consecutive DIMM slots must not even be possible.

Corsair currently offers two models of XPERT memory, once we tested the TwinX1024-3200XL Dual Channel kit with timings of 2-2-2-5 on AMD and Intel systems, and even the TwinX1024-3200C2 Dual Channel kit with timings of 2-3-3-6 at 2.5-3-3-6 on AMD and Intel platforms, both have a black heat spreaders and come along with displays and software.
