HP scanner problems

I attempt to scan something with my HP PSC 1315 series all-in-one it gives Error when communicating with the scan device. Connect the scan device right and attempt again. I assured the cable but all is fine. I also re-installed HP software twice, didn't work.

You have do following steps remove the bolts from the printer then get to the Scanner CABLE and Remove the CABLE and Reconnect its do everything while the printer is POWERED OFF .
