Thread: Word Web view

The first version of Word Web application allows for viewing a document, but this function is quite successful. The complex layouts (see image above) match perfectly with the Word document: fonts, margins, and pagination are faithful, like pictures, watermark, etc.

In Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the button "open" to change a document in which you work (or your own document when you are not using your computer) and open it in read-only or read and execute. Only recent versions of Word (from 2003) allow these manipulations, provided also use IE (error messages appear in Firefox and Safari). For that to become truly useful tool would require the application supports other browsers (IE is also no longer available on Mac).
