Microsoft gives free templates for you to use at home and at work for different kinds of projects like brochures, greeting cards and award certificates. The templates are listed in categories or you can do a search for a particular template right on the site.

The templates are created for various Office programs like Word, Excel and Outlook. Some can be utilized for most editions of Office while others can be utilized only on particular or newer versions of Office.

After you get the template you like you can click on it to download it and open it with proper Office program. From there you can create your changes and customize it to suit your requirements. You can then save it as your own document or template to utilize afterward.
