FaveLock allows you lock particular folders have in Windows Favorites. When trying to access a locked folder, user is prompted for a password to unlock the folder and its contents. Folders not selected as locked show and operate as they usually would in Explorer. To lock folders again after unlocking, access the Lock folders command from Internet Explorer’s Tools menu or from a system tray icon, or just close Internet Explorer. FaveLock supports Windows profiles; so many users sharing a single workstation can keep individual settings for locked folders.

FaveLock encrypted passwords and original contents of a locked folder. The longer the password you select, the more safe data. When bring list of Favorites in Internet Explorer, whether use Favorites menu or open Favorites bar, any folder not selected as locked appears and functions generally. A locked folder, though, will show a yellow padlock icon and text Unlock. FaveLock covers only sites and subfolders in a folder; it does not hide folder itself.
