How to Scan a Photo with the Epson Workforce 600
My sister's families newly purchase an Epson Workforce 600: a sleek, black combination printer, scanner and fax machine. My sister photos she wants to scan and send to friends but she has by no means scan a photo. To my surprise very little information about how to scan was included in the user guide. So I wrote these instructions for my sister who doesn't understand computer technology very well. Here's how to scan a photo with the Epson Workforce 600, using the simplified "Home" mode (as opposed to the more advanced Office or Professional mode). These instructions include information on automatic dust removal, color restoration, where to save the scans, and how to name a batch of files. It's a lot of steps and can be time-consuming, but worth it to be able to share your photos via email or the web!
