A border used to spice up a easy text or to highlight the primary purpose of page. You'll discover borders on fliers, certificates, flyers and more. Creating an invitation flier, may decide to add a border with balloons to give the page a fun, playful look. Choose how border is displayed--making it completely surrounds all edges of your page or just a specific edge.

Creating the Border

1. Step 1

Generate a free border of your option using your favorite image editor, such as Microsoft Paint or Mac Paint. Alternatively, may use an existing image on pc and use it as a border as well.

2. Step 2

Unlock Paint or Mac Paint and cut the border size by select "Image, Attributes." Choose a width and height of about 50 pixels, then click "OK."

3. Step 3

Keep the image for border by going to "File, Save." alter the file type to ".gif" or ".jpg" under "Save as type" and click on "Save."
Adding the Border

4. Step 1

Open a blank page in and select "View, Header and Footer."

5. Step 2

Connect on "Insert, Picture, browse to find the new image just shaped or the obtainable image you want to use. Connect "Insert" to place the picture onto your page.

6. Step 3

The picture and choose "Format Picture, Layout, Behind Text." duplicate and paste the icon manifold times until it stretches across the top of your page.

7. Step 4

The Drawing pane if it isn't already open by select "View, Toolbars, and Drawing." Using the "Select Objects" tool choose the images alone plus align them on the edge of your page. Feel free to drag the image a little outside the margin so you'll have room for the content later.

8. Step 5

Connect on the "Select Objects" tool again and hold down "Shift" key. Choose every picture are selected. The imagery and decide "Grouping, Group" to group them. The images shift together.

9. Step 6

The grouped picture and paste it. Shift it to the base of your page to create a bottom border for the page.

10. Step 7

Paste the grouped picture once extra and move it a few lines lower than the top border. Connect on the newly paste image to select it, then go to the Drawing pane and click on "Draw, Rotate or Flip, Rotate Left 90 degrees."

11. Step 8

Draw the left border you'd like it to appear. To add additional imagery to fill the left border, over the image and select "Grouping, Ungroup." duplicate and paste as a lot of images as you need to fill the space. Align the images with the others, select them all and group them again.

12. Step 9

Copy the left border and paste it. Select Rotate or Flip, Rotate Right 90 degrees" from the picture pane and shift the border to the right edge of page.

13. Step 10

Select all the borders and group them to make border. Close "Header and Footer" toolbar to create adding happy to page.
