Creation a seamless tile in Photoshop use for wallpaper or a backdrop for your blog or website is easy, and it involves just a few basic steps. However, depending on the picture decide to create tile from, you may need to do some different picture editing to make sure that there will be no visible seams in the finished wallpaper. Fortunately, the approach is pretty basic, and following you learn how to do it, you'll be able to take almost any piece of art and quickly turn it into a nice seamless background.

Instructions

1. Step 1

The artwork use to make your tile. Make the artwork 200 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. Crop out what you don't want to be in the image, or resize the artwork as wanted to get the file to that size.

2. Step 2

Top quality the "Offset" filter. Enter 100 in both of the boxes for the horizontal and vertical pixel offsets. Note that this number is half of your file size, so if your file is not 200 by 200 pixels, you will need to adjust numbers accordingly. Make sure the "Wrap Around" option is selected. Click "OK."

3. Step 3

Make sure file for clear seams at the center of the image. The artwork may look like four divide tiles at this point. Use whatever brush or additional method you want to clean up the seams. Clone parts of the image, if necessary, and paste them over the seams.

4. Step 4

Put aside cleaned-up image. The new picture will now tile properly it is worn for wallpaper or a background. Go back to file and tweak it, if necessary. Complex images may require quite a bit of editing.
