An appearance and difficult task that for many people creates excessive anxiety. One stressful feature of giving donation is keeping track of the time so that you should finish. PowerPoint is not capable of displaying a digital clock throughout a slide show, a third-party add-on that handles this quite nicely. TM Timer, by Tushar Mehta, a free download that adds functionality to Microsoft PowerPoint versions 2000 through 2007.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Eliminate any currently installed versions of TM Timer prior to version 3. Connect on "Start", "Settings" and "Control Panel.” on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in Control Panel. Find TM Timer in the alphabetized listing of installed software. Click on the name of the application and key will appear. Click the "Remove" button to uninstall the old version of TM Timer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal process.
2. Step 2
Download TM Timer version 3 from the Slide Show Timer website. To put in software, downloaded "ppt-timer.zip" files to extract the "ppt-timer.ppa" file into the default location derived from the last step.
3. Step 3
The text box wanted to display the time. Connect on top of the "TM" in the main menu bar next to "Help” and "Add Timer Item" in PowerPoint versions 2003 and older, which places a text box on the current slide. Connect on the "TM" tab in the main menu bar next to "Developer", "PowerPoint Timer group" and "Add Timer Item" in PowerPoint 2007, which places a text box on the current slide. Format the text as desired using the text formatting tools on the toolbar.
4. Step 4
The formatted regulator text box to all slides in the slide show. Connect on the "TM" in the main menu bar, "Customize Timer" and "Copy Timer Item" in PowerPoint versions 2003 and older, to copy the text box on all existing slides. Click on the "TM" tab in the main menu bar, "PowerPoint Timer group" and "Copy Timer Item" in PowerPoint 2007, to copy the text box on all existing slides.
5. Step 5
The parameter digital clock. Click on the "TM" in the main menu bar and "Presentation Timer" in PowerPoint versions 2003 and older to access the dialog box. Connect on the "TM" tab in the main menu bar, "PowerPoint Timer Group" and "Set Parameters" in PowerPoint 2007, to access the dialog box. Choose the desired "Select Option" in the upper left-hand corner: Elapsed Time, Time of Day or Countdown Timer. Enter the preferred time increments in the hh:mm:ss format under "Update Display Every" if the digital clock is to show Time of Day. Enter the time duration under "Countdown parameters" in the hh:mm:ss format if the digital clock will show Elapsed Time. Click "OK."
