Windows Explorer, a file manager in the, permit you to show and manipulate files represent as icons or lists. Windows Vista provides a new feature of hiding known file extensions, which can make a file list or icons easier to read and work with. Instructions
1. Step 1
Log into an overseer type account in window 7 or Vista.
2. Step 2
Connection window "Start" key in the bottom-left corner.
3. Step 3
Connect "Computer" to open window Explorer.
4. Step 4
Connect the menu "Tools" in Windows Explorer, and prefer "Folder Option."
5. Step 5
Choose the tab "View."
6. Step 6
Check the box "Hide extension for known file types" under "Advanced Settings" and click "OK."
